Favourite brand of the week/Giveaway - StickyHeelz

If you were to ask me what the most important part of a night out with the girls is I will 100%, hands down say 'dancing until my feet are bleeding' and unfortunately I don't mean that metaphorically.

When it comes down to it I really do feel like heels are a girls best friend, but also her worst nightmare. When you're trying on a fab new pair of shoes in the store walking round like Gigi on the Victoria Secret runway, you literally do not give a flying balls about whether or not they'll stay on your feet when you wear them 'out out'. I know i don't. But once you're at the club, dancing the night away and you've lost a shoe half way across the dance floor, there's no going back, the mess has already been made.

I've had this incident happen to me one to many times and it's resulted in me not being able to wear some of the prettiest shoes i own (sad face) - but alas, i came across a brand on Instagram that has literally changed the slippery heels game for life!

A few of my night out essentials, including the wonderful StickyHeelz
StickyHeelz are a company based in the UK, founded by a lovely lady named Laura. They have produced the 'worlds first' dual anti-slip shoe and heel pads that prevent the slipping and rubbing of shoes. Like me, Laura had far too many shoes that she couldn't wear because they 'slipped at the heel' - so naturally, i've decided to get on board and spread the message to girls (and guys) like me who are struggling with the same thing!

One thing that really baffled me when i found it out, is that 60% of the population have different sized feet, meaning that no shoes will ever be the perfect fit. Put yourself in a pair of heels and you start to see my problem. That's where the slipping and sliding comes from!

I received my pack incredibly quickly and couldn't wait to test them out (it also meant an excuse to go on a night out) so i went straight to my wardrobe to search for a pair of shoes that i had currently deemed 'unwearable'.

At first i thought what you're probably thinking right now. How can something that looks like a small sanitary towel change a pair of bad fitting shoes into shoes that feel like they've been crafted by god? Wellll, the unique pads stick to both your foot and your shoe, maximising comfort whilst giving you the stability to enjoy your night and dance until drop.

Now let me tell you this...I wore my troublesome shoes for the entire night without any discomfort and without losing a shoe, which was flipping amazing. I can't wait to try them out on all the other shoes i've never been able to wear, because trust me there's a lot of them.

I would personally recommend StickyHeelz to any girl who loves partying and the great thing is that you can get multiple wears out of them. Even the likes of Charlotte Crosby and Megan Mckenna are loving them.

Each pack costs £6.99 and contains the following:

  • 2 x Shoe pads made of foam with padding for comfort
  • 4 x Heel pads (for multiple use) which are soft, breathable and skin friendly.

The skin friendly factor was extremely important to me as i have very sensitive skin and certain adhesives can set me off with a bad reaction. These didn't do that though which was fab.

Below is a short guide if you're unsure on how to attach the pads to your shoes/feet:

  1. Separate the heel pad and the shoe pad.
  2. Fit the heel pad to the foot. Secure for 30 seconds.
  3. Fit the shoe pad to the inside of the back of the shoe.
  4. Place your foot into the shoe connecting the heel pad and the shoe pad. Gently press your heel against the back of the shoe to secure it.
  5.  Apply a new heel pad to the foot for each wear.
And then to remove you simply place your fingers between the heel pad and the shoe pad holding thr shoe pad in place. Take your foot out of the shoe, separating the pads.

To purchase StickyHeelz you can either visit the website  https://www.stickyheelz.com/ or buy them from boots.com.

I will also be giving away a pack of StickyHeelz to one lucky winner. All you have to do is drop an Email to HelloTasha@live.com with the title 'Giveaway17' and leave a comment on this post when you're done!

Good Luck
