How to style: Leopard print

Leopard print never really goes out to style, so if you're umming and ahhing about whether or not to get out your leopard print coat for Winter, then question no more!

Wearing leopard print can be tricky, but when done right it can add a real glam and edgy vibe to the simplest of outfits. Even if you don't want to go all out in a coat, you can still wear the print sparingly in accessories (like shoes or a handbag) to add an instant rock and roll edge.

I've compiled a few of my favourite ways to wear leopard print, and don't worry- some of them are slightly more subtle.

1. Shoes - Slipping on a pair of leopard platform pumps or ankle boots is one of my favourite ways to wear animal print. You’ll just want to pair them with a solid-coloured dress (any colour works!) or a pair of jeans with solid-coloured top. Avoid wearing anything printed or extra loud so it won’t clash with your shoes.

2. Handbag - A simple way to add a touch of animal print to any outfit is with a leopard handbag or clutch. You can easily replace a classic black tote or satchel with a leopard print on. It’ll brighten up any outfit!

3. Scarf - I find that the easiest way to rock animal print is with a scarf. So if you are a little wary of this trend, it's a great way to try the trend and get a feel of if it's really for you.

4. Dress - Say goodbye to the LBD (little black dress) and swap it for an animal print dress. Over Christmas i did quite a lot of shopping and spotted numerous stores selling them! They are everywhere from New Look to Zara. I like to wear pretty basic jewellery with a pattered dress so that it stays the focal point of the outfit,

5. Coat – And finally, the coat. This is my all-time favourite way to wear leopard print and i honestly don't think that anything can top it! I recently bought a new one from New Look and i live in it. I find that wearing all black with gold accessories looks effing amazing with a full on faux fur coat, but don't let my opinion stop you from creating a fashion masterpiece. A red lip also looks bomb (just to let you know).

So that's it! My fave ways to style the print of the season - let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on the leopard trend and whether you think its had its day or is a classic staple print.
